Parabéns ao chef do D.O.M., Alex Atala, que foi eleito o segundo melhor chef da América Latina. O prêmio foi concedido pela revista inglesa "Restaurant", que pela primeira vez realizou a cerimônia no continente.
Atala -que já figura na lista dos 100 melhores do mundo na 6ª posição- recebeu também o prêmio S. Pellegrino de melhor restaurante do Brasil.
O primeiro lugar na lista da revista “Restaurant” ficou com o restaurante peruano Astrid y Gastón, do chef Gastón Acurio.
O Brasil teve uma grande noite também com outras casas que conseguiram boas colocações. O Maní, de Helena Rizzo, ocupou o 5º lugar, Roberta Sudbrack ficou na posição de número 10, o Mocotó de Rodrigo Oliveira em 16º, Fasano em 23º, Attimo na posição 32; o Olympe de Claude Troisgros em 35º, Remanso do Bosque em 38º lugar e Epice no 41º lugar.

Alex Atala is voted second best chef of Latin America
Congratulations to chef at D.O.M, Alex Atala, who was elected the second best chef of Latin America. The award was granted by the British magazine "Restaurant", which for the first time the ceremony took place on the Continent.
